28 Dec. 2009, I received your postcard asking me to call in to the 877 number and give currrent biographical information. I tried doing this and only got a series of computer generated noises like it was a fax machine or something like that. Previously, I reaceived another postcard that asked me to provide biographical information. I tried, but there was something about the web site that I got that was unworkable. I not forget the details, buts I gave up in frustration because I could not make it work. I will try the 877 number again tomorrow and see if I can make it work. Or send me a list of the points you want me to cover, and I will send it by email

Peggy Ahlgren is working on genereating more from our class by suggesting different ways of commemorating such as by family, or marriage if more than 1 family member attended West. I can go all the way back to my mom who graduated in '39. Happy Easter.
Hi Danial, Thanks for sharing the photos. My grandfather used to take me to the UW Dairy every weekend, for ice cream. We would walk home with a gallon and give it to Gran half melted. We had already consumed our cones on the way. Pepermint stick was my favorite but it was only available around the holidays. Yummmmm I have tried to tell my husband, who was born in Zambia and raised in South Africa....about this amazing ice cream. At least I can now show him proof! I spent a lot of my childhood with my grandparents, at 10 Babcock Drive. Grandfather and I would walk up to his office in Babcock Hall every morning and I would play with the statue of Lincoln. Has it been moved? I haven't been back to Madison for several years. Did you draw the picture of Babcock Hall? I am very taken with it! I have been a Corporate Art Consultant for 25 years!
Are we all still aspiring rocket scientists? Memories of ASS Class...
Thank you for sending along the invite to join in on this network. It will be nice to be able to keep up with classmates between reunions. Seems that at every reunion we make so many wonderful plans to keep in touch , then life just gets in the way of following through.
Will see if my computer-savy son can get a recent photo on board for me. Promise me you won't focus on the grey hairs, they've been hard-earned. It is good to be alive.
